After studying painting and printmaking she began a career in the art museum field. She then went on the found a community ceramic studio and launch her own brand of handmade ceramics. Illustration is a common thread throughout her artistic endeavors and inspired her to establish her freelance surface design and illustration studio, Nestbox.
